Assignment #4 - Composition

Image
ISO: 100  f/6.3   1/320sec Contrast this is my top favorite because the dark green and the bright pink are good contrast colors. I also like the softness of the flowers and the jagged edges of the leaves behind. And I love both of these colors. ISO: 100     f/6.3        1/320sec camera angles this is my second favorite because I played around with the tilt of the camera, I liked that way this picture came out. I did turn up the vibrance and that is what brought out the yellow color and like it because it give the photograph a theme. ISO:6400      f/5.6         1/400sec patterns and lines when look at our uniform shits I see the patterns in the pleats. that is why I took this photo. I also made it black and white because it shows the depth that is under the pleats. ISO: 12800    f/8.0       1/4000sec texture ISO:25600        f/6.3 ...

Assignment #17 - Siskind

Image
ISO: 12800   f/5.6   1/320sec ISO: 200   f/5.6   1/125sec I feel that my work was influenced on the texture side of things. I do like to shoot texture because, based on how you edit it, you can show different feeling from the picture. For example, picture one was edited to have more of a brighter out side and a darker inside. And picture two has no editing but I wanted it to show a darker, more mysterious feel.

Assignment #15 - Light. When its right, its right

Image
ISO: 100  f/6.3  1/320sec contrast: +25 highlights: -100 whites: -100 saturation: +19 blue hue: +100 ISO: 100  f/6.3  1/320sec green hue:+50 green saturation: +25 ISO: 100  f/6.3  1/320sec whites: +85 blacks: +8 vibrance: +100 I think that the hardest part of the assignment was that the lighting was the same all of the time in Hawaii. It was always the sun all day and then sunset. I think that the third picture is my most successful because when I put up the vibrance it made the colors of the sun and sky reflecting off the water stand out.

Assignment #14 - Hearts in Nature

Assignment #12 - Symmetry

Assignment #13 - TH

Image
PLEASE NOTE: my camera battery died before we took the jumping pictures!!! bad photo: ISO 100, f/ 8.0, 1/30sec I think this is a bad photo because the sun was coming at her not from behind. if I were to change one thing it wild be the iso to maybe 1600. good photo: ISO 4500, f/8.0, 1/4000 sec I think this is good photo because the sun is coming from behind them so it is not as bright. I dont think that I would change anything about this photo.

Assignment #6- Polar Opposites

Image
For our polar opposites assignment we had to take two photos that, even though the objects are different, they still work together in some way. I decided to use the relationship between a horse and rider. This is a perfect example because their bodies and personalities are different but when the rider is on the horse they work as one body. The picture on the left is a unedited picture of my horse Roman. I like this picture because the light source was coming from behind him instead of in front. And the right picture is of me with horse show ribbons behind me. the show ribbons are a symbol of the outcomes that a horse and rider can do together.

Assignment #7- What Color Are You

Image
I chose this color because purple is a color that is vibrant sometimes and dark sometimes. the color also gives off a warm feeling . this photo was taken is a close up on one of the murals downstairs in the basement of the school. one of the reasons i live this photo is because of the texture that it possesses.
